Breath o’ Fresh Art began as a personal journey back to creativity.

I’m a self-taught artist based in Knysna, South Africa. My working life started in administrative roles and later grew into business, but creativity was always something I returned to over the years— be it dance, drama, drawing or painting.

Like many people, I didn’t follow a traditional path into art. I learned through books, workshops, online tutorials, and steady practice. Over time, what started as curiosity became something more meaningful—a way of slowing down, observing more closely, and creating with intention.

Now, in this season of my life, I have the space to focus more fully on painting. My work reflects that ongoing process—each piece part of a longer journey of learning and refinement.

Breath o’ Fresh Art is an extension of that journey. This space is intended to be an invitation or prompt for viewers to wonder about people’s stories and the modern human condition. This is about more than finished pieces.
